How You Can Help

Volunteers provide ideas, share talents and perform essential tasks that make a BIG difference.

How to Become a Volunteer

Donate your talent: Give a unique idea; we want to hear your ideas on how we can fight hunger in our community.

Donate your time: West Alabama Food Bank has need of volunteers in several areas. Most volunteer positions do not involve a long commitment of time per scheduled visit. We ask that all volunteers call WAFB at (205) 759-5519 to schedule a time to perform any volunteer duties. We want to be sure that every volunteer has an opportunity to perform meaningful work.
