Food Fight
Beat Auburn Beat Hunger is a food and monetary drive competition against Auburn’s Beat Bama Food Drive with all Alabama donations supporting the West Alabama Food Bank and all Auburn donations supporting the Food Bank of East Alabama. In the 25 years of this good natured competition, we have collected a total of over 6 million pounds for the people of Alabama.
Each October and November, both schools will join in supporting our most vulnerable community members through a variety of events including fundraisers at local restaurants, purchasing of t-shirts, and online donations.
The most needed food items include canned beans, peanut butter, canned soup with meat, canned meat, and pasta. However, monetary donations are much appreciated as they allow the West Alabama Food Bank to purchase much needed food items.
